For Vaughn, this move marks a return to her roots and a bold new chapter in a career that has spanned more than three decades in staffing. Her journey began in 1994 as a college student working as a temp for Snelling in Lafayette, LA. “I was actually doing day labor, dispatching crews to the pipe yard,” Vaughn recalls. “It was chaotic, but I fell in love with industrial staffing.” She later transferred to Jackson, MS while pursuing a master’s degree in counseling psychology, but the pull of staffing proved too strong. She left graduate school to start her first Snelling desk with nothing but a legal pad and a phone book.

Vaughn’s career took her from the franchise side to the corporate side of Snelling when her husband’s job relocated them to Dallas in 1999. Twenty years ago, she purchased her first franchise in Texas, later expanding to add a Denton location. Now, she’s bringing her experience, energy, and proven leadership to Oklahoma City with HireQuest Direct.
